To accomplish this goal, Hoover schools employ outstanding educators, provide students with a rich array of course offerings and opportunities, and utilize instructional methodologies that reflect cutting-edge practice in educational research.

Parental involvement and community support is a core ingredient to the success of Hoover City Schools. Examples of parent support include volunteers, active parent organizations, and employee/parent advisory groups. City and school officials cooperate on numerous projects such as the School Resource Officer Program and use of athletic fields and facilities. Community support is observed at so many levels.

Academically, Hoover students continue to surpass state and national averages on all assessments. Other areas of academic pride are evidenced when examining graduation rates, college placements, state science and writing assessments, and National Merit Scholars winners.
