For more information on this club, please contact the sponsors via email. The Girls Engaged in Math and Science (GEMS) Club at Greystone Elementary is a small club of up to 10 girls in fourth grade and 10 girls in fifth grade. These groups of girls are selected through an application process each October. The girls meet weekly in the sponsors' classrooms beginning in late October. GEMS is a state-wide educational program designed to actively involve girls in STEM-related activities through formal and informal learning environments. Through this club, the girls will work with the sponsors to determine a common STEM interest, research this topic through math and science investigations, and create a project centered around this topic. Please contact the sponsors for more information.

Parents and Students,
We would like to let you know that we were able to get more sponsors for our GEMS clubs this year. Because of this, we are able to have 2 groups in 4th and 5th grade. The group members are listed below. Thank you to everyone who took the time to apply! These clubs will begin meeting next week. We will follow up with the students next week to give them the days and times for our first meetings on either Wednesday or Thursday.
